This Privacy Policy explains how PinCode Checkout Control handles merchant data when the app is installed and used in a Shopify store.
The app processes store-level information needed to run pincode-based payment and serviceability rules. This includes shop domain, app installation details, session data, and rule data entered by the merchant.
Rule data can include pincode values, payment method titles, rule actions, CSV uploads, and non-serviceable pincode reasons.
We use this data to let merchants create, update, import, and apply checkout rules based on pincode. We also use installation and session data to authenticate merchants and keep the app connected to Shopify securely.
We do not use merchant data for advertising or resale.
App data is stored on secure infrastructure used to operate the app. We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect stored data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
Access is limited to what is necessary to operate, maintain, and support the app.
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the app and comply with legal or operational requirements. If a store uninstalls the app, related data may be deleted in accordance with Shopify requirements and our retention practices.
